Guidelines
In 1995, our association developed a dynamic set of local whale & wildlife viewing guidelines. These guidelines have been modified throughout the years to adjust for the newest and best science available. The PWWA’s guidelines have allowed for no-boat foraging zones, minimized underwater noise with speed limits and sonar restrictions, and created clear corridors for SRKW’s to travel.
Respecting the wildlife and following these guidelines will help ensure the safety and well-being of the whales for generations to come.
