Whale watching and wildlife tours from Sidney, BC... the gateway to the Gulf Islands National Park Reserve. Owned and operated by a local of Sidney, at Emerald Sea we focus on having a more personable experience. We depart three times daily from our shop which has fascinating whale art, books, jewelry and clothing.

Our skipper has over 10 years and thousands of hours of whale watching in our local waters and during summer months our whale success rate is over 90%.. Our boat is custom built for our excursions and offers a private on board washroom and the world's quietest, environmentally friendly operation. We do offer "Whale Guarantee's" on a daily basis. Both Resident and Transient Orca, Minke, Grey and Humpback whales are common sightings along with porpoise, seals, eagles and the majestic beauty of the islands.

Avoid the crowds and enjoy the seaside Town of Sidney and majestic scenery, just 20 minutes north of Victoria, but feels worlds away.
