Descriptions

Experience the thrill of the wind in your face and the smell of sea air, as you slice through the waters surrounding Victoria, in search of the magnificent Orca (killer whale). While our tours focus on the resident killer whale families, our university educated team of marine biologists and/or naturalists provide informative and educational commentary on all members of our unique marine community. On any given day we may see Orca, Minke, Grey or Humpback Whales, porpoises, dolphins, seals, sea lions, otters, bald eagles and a variety of other birds.

We have two styles of boats to choose from: our zodiac boats are custom built for whale watching and offer uncompromised safety and fun. Passengers are provided with a full-length cruiser suit for safety and protection from the elements. The King Salmon, our 45ft. high-speed ocean cruiser offers passengers an all-weather viewing experience. Enjoy refreshments from the comfort of a heated indoor cabin, or go outdoors on one of two viewing decks. From either vessel our crew strives to provide an intimate whale watching experience; leaving passengers with a memory of a lifetime.

How You Can Help

Every one of us can make a difference. Pollution and lack of suitable food are the major factors that are threatening the Southern Resident Orca Whales.

Cleaning up the environment in which they live will not only promote their survival, but will benefit the entire ecosystem. There are many ways that you can help, and we hope that you do.
