Supporting Organizations
The Pacific Whale Watch Association has worked closely with many other organizations over the years. These groups include educators, scientists, researchers, environmentalists, government, students, and people like you who believe that collectively we can all make a positive impact on the environmental health of this region.
The PWWA members consider their vessels to be floating classrooms. Our captains and naturalists have accumulated more time with the Southern Resident Killer Whales than any other organization in the world. These dedicated folks log into the PWWA blog to post interesting facts and are often the first to report new calves, missing whales, the first Gray whale of the year and the last Humpback of the year. They’ll post unique wildlife sightings throughout the year such as the seasonal return of the Heerman’s Gull and Phalaropes, or unique visitors like the Pacific White Sided Dolphins. The PWWA and its partnering organizations will continue working to preserve and protect the habitat of the Salish Sea. Thank you for supporting PWWA and its member companies.
